Who it is for
Grades 2-5. Recognize the seven tangram pieces, rotate shapes and follow no-gap/no-overlap rules. The parallelogram may be flipped.
How to use it
Suggested starting support: full KEY for targets 01-08, HINTS for 09-16, STUDENT outline for 17-24. Give the support page when needed and accept any valid seven-piece tiling. For cards 25-30, keep the diagnostic solution for checking.
Files and printing
Printable PDFs with teacher answer keys. Alternate decorative headers contain the same tasks and answers; choose one version and one paper size. Full and partial support are separate files that may be shared with learners. All silhouettes are abstract shapes. For pieces and targets, print at 100% / Actual size, never Fit, and measure the 50 mm control square before cutting.
